No. SlyceIt is web-based for guests. You share a link, they tap it in any browser, type their name, claim the items they ordered, and mark themselves as paid. No app install, no signup.

No. The receipt photo is sent to our OCR pipeline in memory, parsed into line items, and then discarded. We only keep the structured items and totals — not the image.

SlyceIt reads every tax, service charge, and fee line directly from your receipt. Each guest pays their share proportionally to what they ordered, so taxes split fairly without anyone doing the math.

Yes. SlyceIt is free. There are no hidden fees and no subscriptions. SlyceIt does not process payments — friends pay you directly through your bank, e-wallet, or whatever method you prefer.

SlyceIt works with most major currencies including MYR, SGD, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, IDR, and THB. The currency is set per bill and amounts are formatted using your locale.

Yes. SlyceIt works in any country because it reads taxes and fees from the receipt itself — no local tax rules are baked in. As long as the receipt itemises its charges, SlyceIt can split it.

SlyceIt doesn't process payments. You set up your preferred payment method — bank transfer, DuitNow, or e-wallet — and friends see your details on the bill when they tap "I've paid." They send the money to you directly.

Your dashboard shows live payment status — who has claimed items, who has paid, and who is still pending. You can follow up directly with anyone outstanding; the bill stays open until everyone settles.
